Reality of Allah in our lives

Sometimes we mix belief with hypocrisy and I don't mean anyone else when I say this since it's a reminder to myself first then to others inshAllaah.

So what is belief? The word Belief can be synonymous to certainty, when we are certain about something we call it belief. A lot of things around us are taken for granted (in eg.cars, keys, cats, dogs etc.)whereas the Islamic belief is based on an entity who is beyond any form or likeness. Therefore, to say that 'we believe' is not as easy a thing as it may sound to us. Because to really believe we must attain certainty that HE exists.

However, Allah being the Most Merciful has made it easier for His slaves. In the Qur'an He has talked about different categories of Muslims. Some have actually raised to a level from which they can literally see Paradise or Hell or even God for that matter. Hadhrat Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) can be a very good example of this, look what he had to say bout his belief- "If either the Paradise or the Hell was brought near to me it would not make a difference....."

Now going back, hypocrisy! It's something which is quite common in the present day Muslims. And the lack of certainty in the existence of Allah actually paves the way for hypocritical behavior. The fundamental problem about this issue is it's really tough for us to reach to a level of the likes of hadhrat ali (m.A.b.p.h). So we have to manage with whatever ability we have inshAllaah to get closer to Allah, The most Merciful. Now let's face it, we do not really have the certainty in the existence of Allah and I believe you'll have to agree with me considering the lack of Muslims in the masjids and even the ones present not experiencing the sweetness of prayer. Yes my dear brothers and sisters, we do believe in Allah and we love Him and We believe in His messengers (M.P.B.U.T.A.) but we have not given the correct estimate to Allah. Why, for instance, we sin proudly yet we don't feel any kind of remorse in our hearts? Trust me oh my brother or sister in Islam, sometimes we are not any better than a disbeliever cause he doesn't know Allah whereas we know Allah yet there is no sign of it. We are disobeying our Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, The Fashioner, The Creator of the heavens and the earths. Yet we do not hesitate to say that we love Allah, woe to us!

We have to identify the reality of Allah's existence in our lives. I mean really, Allah wants us to believe and act in addition to that. But we have taken our 'Muslimness' for granted, as if we have a guaranteed ticket to Paradise, no my brothers and sisters it's not your problem alone it's the same with me, a lot of times I do things and later on I regret. However, feeling remorse is a mercy from Allah if you feel remorse then know that it's a sign of imaan/faith. Allah says- my servant has committed a sin and He knows He has a Lord and He has turned to me. Listen to What our Beloved Lord says at the end of His statement, " Do what you do, I will forgive you so long as you do not associate partners with me."

This is a light of hope for us when there is no hope. And I also believe this is an invitation to the non-Muslims to come to know Our Creator, The true God, who Created everyone. The Immense power and Infinite Mercy that He has is Unexplainable, Unimaginable.

For us to really take care of our belief we have to constantly ask Allah for guidance, and don't think just because we are Muslims we are guided and that's it. No absolutely not! If it was that easy then whats the point asking Allah for guidance in prayer at least seventeen times a day?

There is nothing compared to a sincere du'a or supplication. Allah accepts the prayer only if it's sincere and done in accordance to the way of the prophet Rasulullaah(S.a.W.).

I ask Allah to guide us, forgive our sins, accept us as His Mukhlisin or the sincere ones, ameen.

Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdik ashhadu an la ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk'.

The harsh reality of life

There is a 10 year old boy named hope. He never wanted an extravagant life, his demands to his parents are very little. It is only that they live together in peace and harmony. This boy hope never gave his parents a hard time, he never bugged his mom or dad for any material thing. Still he doesn't want anything except that he longs to be with his mom and dad.

Since the time he was born he had seen his parents ranting and raving at each other. Calling names and doing all the crazy and abnormal things one could ever imagine. The elders of the families of hope's parents were fed up dealing with it anymore, can you think of the predicament hope himself was going through?

And today, he is a bigger kid. Hence he understands a lot more than before. He knows the nature of his parents. He knows none of his parents is ever going to humble themselves for good. So everything he has been seeing all his life is going to continue.

But he loves his parents very much, they mean the world to him. But the fact of the matter is, his parents are so selfish that they don't care involving him in their crap. Thus in the process he has become 20 years older than his original age. He has been forced to grow up. And you can imagine what happens when the natural process of growth is disturbed.

God! He asks you when will this world come to an end and he will sleep forever. You and I are very fortunate that we had a normal life in our childhood. We can never realize his sufferings, but for sure we can pray for him.

His entire life is ahead of him and he still doesn't know how in the world is his wound going to heal!

At the end, I would like you to think of this little life for one minute please. Later when you go to pray bring all your emotions in front of the Creator to guide this boy and give him more strength to face up this challenge.

( it's not an imaginary character, I used a fake name for him)

The Predicament of "Love Affairs"

Read a tragic story in the newspaper a few days ago, it's about a 19 year old university girl from chittagong who got murdered by her boyfriend. Such a tragedy! Getting murdered by someone she loved! Why? If that guy truly loved her how can he take her life? Is it possible? Yes, it's possible and in fact that's what actually happened. Because it was something called a "love affair". Now lemme give you a brief definition of what is a love affair? A love affair is where a girl and a boy say- they are gonna be going out for a few years and then when they are stable enough they'll get married if everything goes right.

[I have complete respect for the deceased Sarima Rahman, and i am not blaming her for anything here. She was I suppose a naive girl who got trapped by a menacing boy, and may Allah forgive her with His countless mercy, ameen]

Well, i have seen people saying "we are committed...", " we are in an open relationship" and this and that. But in reality they don't actually know what they are doing. However, I don't look down on the ones that fall in love since it's a natural inclination toward the opposite sex.

Please don't take me wrong but religion is not the only issue here. If anyone opens their mind and thinks will surely realize that when they fall in love they lose their sleep, they lose the happiness and fun of life until they get their love. And what if they don't get the one they love? Yes, right! Most of them these days start saying this life is not worth living, i need to die!

SubhanAllaah, i have seen how religion always proves to be the ultimate healer of the disease called "prem-rog" or "love-craze" or whatever you may like to call it. well, I wont be revealing my story here (lol) because that's not my intention for writing this note InshAllaah.

why are you lookin at me eh? Are you thinkin I am self-contradictin myself? First I say religion is not the only issue and now I am saying religion is the ultimate healer? Wait! I am gonna clarify this a bit inshAllah. You see we human beings have to live for something. I mean really can anyone live without dependin on anything? Dependence is essential in a person's life. Of course, I am not tellin you to become momma's boys, so don't be deceived inshAllaah........Lol....:p

What I mean is you must need some sort of authority to control your life. When you do not find peace anywhere then who do you go to? - Your Creator. Even if i assume you are not a Muslim I can say for certain you do have Allah for yourself and you do believe in Him but you just don't recognize Him. Whenever any person of any race or religion gets afflicted with some serious trial they cry out- "oh God! Help me out". This clearly says it is our natural disposition to realize the power Allah has over our lives.

Turning to Allah therefore is the only option left to us if we are to truly experience our spiritual void. And the love you and I define is created by Allah The Almighty. We know He is Peace and from Him is Peace, and to Him is the return.

A dire Warning to the brothers and sisters of Brac

i have been tolerating this university for 4 long years, I really can't take this fitna anymore. Indeed it was some trial to study at Brac, people walking around either in tights or transparent outfits aoudhubillah. You may think me a lewis ( we say "luichcha" in Bangla......:p) but trust me whoever goes through these kinda afflictions only understands what it's like! Indeed what prophet salawatullahi wa salamualay said was true! He said: "I don't fear for you anything except the fitna of women."

This hadith, however,is not to be misunderstood. No offense to the sisters but it's how Allah created us men that we are visual beings. When we see a woman we get attracted while the women get attracted to men by hearing their voices. Yes it's our weakness that we very easily fall prey to satan when it comes to dealing with women. But it is also an obligation upon the Muslim women that they cover themselves properly. Indeed Allah didn't tell them to cover for the pleasure of it, no! Women are to be covered and they are a very precious creation of Allah azza wajjal, Allah has honored the women and now it's upon them to preserve this honor.

Now going back to brac, why do I say brac is a fitna? I say this because I found some serious issues with a few people up there. There is this hidden club named LYGen [ Liberal Youth Generation]and I ask you all to remember the name be careful of it. It's a club founded in NSU and they are affiliated with HT[ Hizbut Tahrir]. These folks are deviating the pious brothers of brac and kinda "brainwashing" them in order that they associate with them in their misguidance.

Basically I am writing this note to warn my brothers and sisters of Brac, so that they can keep themselves aware of them. I ask you all to not associate yourselves with some group as grouping is forbidden in Islaam Allah has told us not to divide among ourselves. And this HT by making "hizb is going against the Qur'an openly. You practice Islam wholeheartedly inshAllaah do whatever is obligatory upon you, please note I am not telling you to compromise your Islaam. But I am just telling you to practice Islaam the right way InshAllaah.
